Competition students

At Platinum Dance Company, we invite all students to come and be a part of our competition team.

We do not have a selection process for our competition groups, however we ask that students only join if they are committed to both the practices and competitions, have a strong work ethic, can take constructive criticism and work well as part of a team. 

​

All competition students must be able to attend the 3 competitions we have scheduled throughout the year. I try to make this as easy as possible by only selecting 3, with one in Geraldton and the other two in Perth. 

​

Students wanting to be involved in competitions must be enrolled in the general classes in the styles they wish to compete in as well as the competition group class for their age group. The competition group class is discounted at $55 per child per term. Students must be able to have full attendance at their competition group class to ensure they get a spot in the routines.

Students also have the opportunity to compete in solos and duos/trios. Please speak to Miss Emily if you would like to do solos and arrange private lessons, this is open to everyone. Please note duos/trios are by selection only and cannot be requested.
